Answer #1

There are three types of RNA (Ribonucleic acid):

  1. Messenger RNA (mRNA)
  2. Ribosomal RNA (rRNA)
  3. Transfer RNA (tRNA)
  • The ribosome is known as the protein factory of the cell. It is made up of Ribosomal RNA (rRNA) and protein. It decodes mRNA into protein with the help of tRNA that carry the amino acid to the ribosome with respect to the mRNA codons.
  • The ribosome is present in the cytoplasm whereas DNA present into the nucleus. The DNA does not come out of the nucleus or the ribosome does not enter the nucleus.
  • The mRNA is synthesized by using DNA as a template by the process called as transcription. After the synthesis the mRNA tranels from the nucleus to the ribosome present on the endoplasmic reticulum and encoe protein.

Thus, DNA does not come in contact with the ribosome.
