While prejudice refers to the negative attitudes, assumptions and thoughts one has about a certain group of people cased on their skin color, race, religion, ethnicity, culture etc. discrimination is the actual actions thus, neglecting them from certain facilities, opportunities such as, education, employment, housing, healthcare etc. This would mean that prejudice would lead one to discriminate people and prejudice may exist with or without discriminatory practices if the two people do not meet or have any contact. A manager may have preconceived notions that are negative about his employees from different backgrounds, it’s very much sure that the manager would mistreat them and show them through his actions.
