Answer #1

Kantian ethics believe that it is absolutely immoral to do any harm to others. The Kantian ethics show that the evil activities like murder, rape, violation are strictly prohibited in the society. It is said that no one should do any harm to others directly or indirect and we should ensure the security and safety of others. Nobody is allowed to harm others.

According to the theories of morality it is said that man should have the power to perceive the right and wrong activities. One should not use obscene language to others. One should pay tax. One must not hamper the security and peace of others.

In this respect it is clear that we should not smoke before others. The smoke in public place causes harm to others. It is very harmful not only to the smokers but also to others. According to the Kantian ethical principles one is not allowed to do harm others. So, the smokers also cause bad effect to others. Therefore one should refrain from smoking.
