Stress induces the prodcution of catecholamines(adrenaline and nor-adrenaline) in the blood. These hormones induce the glucagon production. Glucagon increases the blood glucose level and increase the usage of blood and stored glucose. This leads to exhaustion of glucose. This would ultimately cause the hunger.
