Ans- SNPs are nucleotide polymorphisms that differ in population

SNPs are single nucleotide polymorphisms which account for the genetic variation in the human genome. Therefor the first option is nor true. As SNPs play role in genetic variations. CNVs are copy number variation which are important source of dosage imbalance of gene. The CNVs do not account for the variation as they regulate the dosage imbalance. For example we know that each gene are present in two copies. But these gene may be present in more than two or less than two copies account for dosage imbalance. This phenomena is termed as CNVs
