Answer #1

Answer- b. a digital (finger) re***l ex*m

c. Biopsy

e. A PSA, which is the most effective way to measure pro***te cancer.

A DRE is done by a doctor using a glove in the re***m to feel for unusual thickness or abnormal shape of the prost*te.

PSA (Pro***te-Specific Antigen) blood test is done to measure the levels of PSA. It's produced naturally in the body in small amounts and elevations may be due to pro***titis, pro***te cancer or enlarged pro***te.

Pro***te biopsy involves a small ultrasound probe being inserted in the re***m for examination.

Out of these, the DRE and PSA are important preliminary examinations, but a cancer of the pro***te can only be confirmed by a biopsy.
