  • Loop of Henle:
  • Na+/K+ pump help to maintain sodium concentrate. It is active transport.
  • Rest of the potassium is reabsorbed by paracellular mechanism by passive transport.
  • Collecting duct:
  • It occur by by K+/H+ pump and is active transport.
