7. d) efferent arteriole

The blood enters into the glomerulus with the help of incoming arteriole and the blood after the glomerular filtration is completed, leaves the glomerulus through outgoing arteriole. The incoming arteriole is afferent arteriole and the outgoing arteriole is efferent arteriole. When the blockade in the glomerulus occurs, the blood enters through afferent arteriole but can’t enter the efferent arteriole as it is obstructed due to the blockade

8. b) proximal convoluted tubule

This is the part of the renal tubule where maximum absorption of water, nutrients, electrolytes and plasma proteins occurs. The Na+, K+, Cl-, urea, glucose, bicarbonate, water and amino acid reabsorption into the blood occurs in the proximal convoluted tubule. It also allows secretion of creatine, drugs and H+ into the tubule. The absorption occurs through various protein channels, pumps etc. Na+ absorption occurs together with glucose, amino acids or as an exchange with H+.
