INTRODUCTION:
Glucose tolerance test is done to test the ability to utilise caebohydrates.
Steps included in Glucose tolerance test:
Initially fatsing blood glucose levels are estimated.
A loading dose of glucose is given.
The blood glucose levels are estimated at regular intervals of time after the glucose load.
A graph is plotted with Blood glucose levels on vertical axis against time intervals on horizontal axis.
The curve so obtrained is called as Glucose tolerance curve.
DESCRIPTION OF GRAPH:
1. Standard control curve
2. Patient A : Lag curve
3. Patient B: Diabetic-non treated

Describe how this graph is related to the base function y=sin x by referring to horizontal and vertical shifts, amplitude, compressions or expansions, reflection.
Suppose the systolic blood pressure (in mm) of adult males has an approximately normal distribution with mean μμ =125 and standard deviation σσ =14. Create an empirical rule graph with the following: A title and label for the horizontal axis including units. Vertical lines for the mean and first 3 standard deviations in each direction with numerical labels on the horizontal axis Labels for the areas of the 8 regions separated by the vertical lines as well. Note: This may...

6. Elasticity and total revenue The following graph shows the daily demand curve for bikes in Houston. Use the green rectangle (triangle symbols) to compute total revenue at various prices along the demand curve. Note: You will not be graded on any changes made to this graph. On the following graph, use the green point (triangle symbol) to plot the annual total revenue when the market price is $30, $45, $60, $75, $90, $105, and $120 per bike. According to the midpoint method, the...
35. Bacteriophage Research: Below is an example of experimental results from a bacteriophage one-step growth curve. This experiment was conducted to compare the number of bacteriophages produced in the presence or absence of a newly identified natural remedy nicknamed "Bacteriophage-Be-Gone" that has been shown by others to reduce virus production. Please analyze the results and answer the questions below. Number of bacteriophages 30 60 180 210 240 90 120 150 time (min) a. (10 points) Please label (on the graph)...
