1. b. A sequence of DNA which contains recognition sites for many restriction endonucleases.
MCS or polylinker have lot of restriction site in a small region of DNA which used to insert a
foreign DNA into plasmid.

2. If two plasmid are cleaved by combination of restriction enzymes it gives different
fragment size in two different plasmids. Based on size variation in given plasmids we
identified which plasmid it is.
