The genetic code___
Enables combinations of nucleotides to code for the 20 amino acids
Enables combinations of mRNAs to code for the 20 amino acids
Enables genes to translate polypeptides into ribosomes
Enables genes to translate ribosomes into polypeptides
Code = it is a secret message which can be understood by the individuals who have the knowledge of decoding or understanding it.
Genetic = related to genes.
Genetic code = it is secret message that consists of genetic information of organism. It is in the form of triplet ( 3 sequence of nucleotides as AAC for a amino acid). There are 20 amino acids which are coded by 64 genetic codes which are in triplet form. From 64 amino acids 3 are stop codons which do not code for any amino acid.
In DNA there are four nucleotides namely Adenine, Guanine, Thymine and Cytosine. These 4 nucleotides when sequenced in triplets code for 20 amino acids.
The genetic information from DNA is coded by the process called Transcription. In it nucleotides are coded using the RNA nucleotides which consists of Uracil instead of Thymine. And this coded information is further carried by mRNA, also called Messenger RNA as per it's work.
As the process of transcription occurs, the nucleotides are carried to ribosomes where the process of Translation occurs. In Translation the coded message carried by mRNA is decoded or translated into amino acid to sequence in a polypeptide. And hence, protein synthesis occurs.
So, according to the above description the answer to the question The genetic code ___ is option A, Enables combinations of nucleotides to code for the 20 amino acids.
The other options are wrong as option B says it enables combination of mRNA to code for 20 amino acids. The mRNA enables a mRNA to be coded for 20 amino acids not the combination of mRNA.
Option c says it enables genes to translate polypeptides into ribosomes. So, ribosomes are not formed by the genes.
Option d says enables genes to translate ribosomes to polypeptide. With genetic code the genes do not translate ribosomes to polypeptide rather the formation of polypeptide sequence of amino acid occurs in Ribosomes, where with help of tRNA the genetic codes in mRNA are decoded and amino acids are formed.

Genetic Code The genetic code is what allows the string of nucleotides in our DNA to code for the sequence of amino acids that make up proteins. Briefly explain what this genetic code is in general and how it works. What is meant by the universality of the genetic code? Explain briefly what the advantages and disadvantages of this type of genetic code are to humans. ANSWER MUST BE ORIGINAL AND NO PLAGIARISM

Write a summary describing the relationship between the following: chromosomes, genes, DNA, Nucleotides, RNA, Alleles, Amino Acids, Proteins, Genome, Transcription, Translation, Ribosomes, Exons, and Introns
The genetic code is considered degenerate because most amino acids are encoded by at least two different codons. Some researchers have hypothesized that during evolution the genetic code has been optimized for its intended use in different organisms. Reseachers can study this by examining the relationship between the frequency with which an amino acid appears in all the proteins in an organism and the total number of codons for an amino acid. An optimized organism would use amino acids in...
