1. A high carbohydarte diet leads to obesity. When we consume large amount of carbohydrates in our diet, our body will start performing lipogenesis and thus start coverting carbohydrates into the fats. The weight gain occurs only when you consume more amount of carbohydrate then your body needs.

2. The metabolism of fats occurs in the liver. When one consumes ethanol, it also enters the liver for metabolism. So, liver become overworked if a person comsumes large amount of ethanol and hence, the fat metabolism will be adversely affected.
