Short term-> 1. making adverstiment tailored for different geographies. For example: In India, Gillette created videos ads which reflected general shaving habits pf Indians.
2. Creating associations which promoted guys to shave ( Women Against Lazy Stubble (WALS) association in India). In this celebrities were hired and they promoted regualr shaves.
Long term-> 1. Extensive Research and development to make their product fulfil the customer need, thereby creating continuous demand while also grabbing customer loyalty.
2. Created different product range suitable for different customer categories.
3. Created a brand image which responded to the emotions of customer. Every time customer use gillette s/he feels more confident, appealing and happy.
4. Gillette did not create product wise campaign but had a focus on driving emotions which were central to all its products
