1) What about the structure of the brain suggests that different parts of the brain do different things?

2) Where is Broca's area located? What is its role?

3) Who is Phineas Gage? How did his accident lead to a better understanding of how the brain works?

1. The presence of the cerebellum, cerebral hemispheres and the brain stem, all of which are different in their structures and size suggests that each part do different things.

2. The Brica's area is present in the left hemisphere of the brain. It is the articulation center of language as it is responsible for word production and language output.

3. Phineas Gage was a railroad worker. A iron rod went through his skull damaging his frontal lobe. This accident helped in understanding the functions of the frontal lobe as the damage to the frontal lobe lead to personality and behavioral changes in Gage.
