how Psychoanalytic theory motivated to people commit crime. and what are negative empacts of this theory. and what type of crime people commit when they are suffer from this theory. please use simple language.

Psychoanalytic theory gives lesser credit to an individual's conscience. according to the theory individuals are slave to there unconscious drives and are mostly controlled and dominated by the same. unlike humanistic or behavioral approaches psychoanalysis believes in helplesness of an individual to change one's life or fight negativity to reach to self actualisation, instead it beleives them to be product of their early life experiences and suppressed desires that motivates all their life actions.

The theory justified crime and motivates it in certain sense as it helps people deal with the dissonance or guilt one has when commiting a crime as now they have an excuse of being slaves to their unconscious and a oerception that they could not have done much about their negative drives as they are helpless in front of them, which makes it less of their choice and more of a product of their unconscious.

Crimes according to this theory one can commit is stealing, rape etc. in simple words failure of an indivivdual to control there immediate desires and acting upon them (Id)
