have you been able to identify your personality type? Is it mostly based on experiences or traits? Do you believe you can be “typed”? 200 words
As far as the personality types are concerned, personalities that are more competitive, highly organized, ambitious, impatient, highly aware of time management and aggressive are labelled Type A, while more relaxed personalities are labelled Type B. The Type C personality people have the tendency to immerse themselves in the work they have undertaken and focus on the fine details. This personality type tends to be a little laidback. With regards to Type D personality, they tend to view life in a very negative way. This personality type is easy prey for depression at some point in their life.
Based on these characteristics, I am falling in the Type A category. I am competition oriented and like to work on multiple projects at the same time. I am driven by the desperate need to achieve greatness and be seen as a winner. Like Type A personality people, I sometimes feel insecure and can be harsh on myself to the level of breaking point on a regular basis in order to attain their goals. But I also have the trait of Type B when I tend to procrastinate a lot and wait until the last possible second to submit work and Type D personality as I suffer from the fear of rejection and don’t mingle with people.
My other personality traits are goal-oriented, idealists, empathetic, kind, altruistic and insightful. I am a quiet and reserved individual, preferring to have a few close friends rather than a wide circle of acquaintances. So, I am of the opinion that a personality cannot be "typed" and experiences form the basis of traits or characteristics of personality.
