Answer #1

The steps to be taken to improve integration are:

  • Joint meeting all the functional heads stating the current scenario and what are the benefits of integrated functions
  • Carrying out sessions with individual functions and assessing their key Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Establishing the common KPIs for functions and Human resource team so that there are joint responsibilities to achieve the results. Thus, Human resource have few functional KPIs and functions need to have few Human resource KPIs
  • Organizing meetings on regular basis for follow up on progress and understanding the key issue in the functions
  • Encouraging Human resource personnel to participate in the functional meetings in order to develop understanding
  • Sharing the development on Human resource front on regular basis with team

All these will help to improve integration
