  1. What four managerial functions are the focus of principles of management? Think of an effective organization you know about in some depth as either an employee or a customer. Do you think they do a good job in all four of these managerial functions? Why or why not?

The four managerial functions are:-

1) Setting goals

2) Allocating resources

3) Monitoring business performance

4) Ensuring necessary preventive and corrective actions are taken in case of deviations are noticed

An effective organisation is Google and I know it of as a regular customer of its search and maps functionality.

As per me they do an excellent job in all managerial functions as they excel in audacious goal setting and then deploy the most talented engineers to solve the issues and achieve goals. In case of any problems seen, they are able to take necessary rectification actions which help Google remain competitive.
