The RNA polymerase is made up of four subunits, Two , one , and one .

, - Helps in RNA assembly and helping

- Helps in initiation and elongation

- Helps in the Binding of complex and opening DNA.

If there is a mutation in  RNA polymerase beta subunits then RNA will not be transcribed as the core complex cannot add the complementary nucleotide to the RNA that results in no transcription or no synthesis of RNA.
