Companies who follow the global standardization policy receive minimum responsiveness as the products and operations are mostly standardized with small variations. Mostly in technology based product or equipments and tools used in devices are manufactured on economies of scale and do not have any significance of local responsiveness. Also, the products and services produced considering global consumers like Apple products follow the global strategy and do not follow local responsiveness. The standardized technology and processes increase the chances for collaboration and compatibility across different systems and use of simplified procedures.

Yes, it is more so because the brand itself is customer preference as the global standardization policy indicates higher quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes leading to affordable products and services. The availability of similar products and services in global markets creates a customer preference for the brand.
