Answer #1

There is confusion in people regarding good leaders and good manager and people often misunderstood a leader with a manager. But, according to the various leadership theories, leaders and managers are the two discrete parts in the society. A good leader has the charismatic personality which attracts people towards them. Along with the charismatic personality a leader holds good communication efficiency and motivational mindset. On the other hand, a manager of any organization follows predetermined vision for the futuristic objectives through methodical ways. A great manager must have the quality of leadership but it is not essential for every leader to be a manager. A great leader prepares the path through unconventional ways and a manager devotes himself to be succeeded in that path.
The human resource manager in my previous organization can be considered as a good leader as he poses the referent and expert leadership power.
Expert leadership power indicates the experiences and knowledge which a person holds. The HR manager has experienced in his field for many years and he has theoretical and practical knowledge along with experiences. Because of this leadership power he can think any issues critically and then take decision for the employees. The manager also has referent power which indicates that every employee trusts and respects him because of his words. He never fails to keep his promises.
