Comic Shop Project

Objective: To make reading & off screen play a first choice of recreation/leisure activity for the kids, teens and young adults to create a mentally agile and socially connected society.

Rationale: Today's generation is spending too much time on screen which is extremely toxic to mental and social development of young population. This Comic Shop will help rejuvenate the age old hobby of reading books. The shop will not only have books on sale but also have places for readers to read books in premises. It will also have a membership program that will entail renting, and discounted pricing. Also, it will promote other social engagements like book clubs and fan groups, to help like minded readers to come together and spend time with each other. Additionally it will also have related toys like action figures and play sets to complement and complete the fun experience.

Goals:

1) To reach out to 90% of target population (kids, teens & young adults) and the influencing agents (schools, colleges, parents etc) within a radius of 20 kms of our store location to create awareness

2) To have a passionate team of 5 individuals who will run the operations efficiently and effectively to create customer satisfaction higher then 3.5 on a scale of 5

3) To operate with a profitability of 20% on the investment value
