Are the turnover rate (kcat) and equilibrium constant a state functions or path functions? This is related to invertase-catalyzed hydrolysis of sucrose. Used the Lineweaver-Burke Plot to calculate them. So y axis is the inverse of the rate of reaction and x axis is the inverse of the initial molar concentration of sucrose. This is Phys Chem.

The equilibrium constant is a state function as it depends only on the initial and final states or we can say concentrations of the reactants and the products.

Also, the turnover rate (kcat) is also a state function as it depends on the initial and final concentrations of reactants and products.
