Most organizational policies are different in some way, but they may contain many of the same characteristics. Policies are meant to be followed and usually don't contain much unnecessary information or rules to follow. The information contained within the policy usually stems from something that has happened in the past.

In this assignment, you will need to perform some research on what organizational policies look like, discuss how they are the same or different. You will then choose one of your own to write based on something that you know.

For example, I love to play video games, so I'm going to look up some video game retailers website and look at their policies. I will then compare them and discuss them.

Then I will take the same concept, my video game retailer, and design my own policy based off one of the example policies in lesson 2's example section written by SANS.

Choose 3 to 4 companies or organizations to review their policies. How do they differ and how might they be the same. Submit the names of the companies and which policies you reviewed.

Choose an example policy from SANS and create your own for the industry or organization that you are interested in.

Reflect on the experience and how you approached the problem

They just received their copy of Medicare & You in the mail from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services at the Department of Health & Human Services. It's time for them to think about a bunch of new things that happen when you turn 65, like signing up for Medicare and starting to collect Social Security. The latter seems like a relatively easy straight-forward decision. Since both of...
