Given above is the listed work task and the expected number of days to complete the job is projected in the table. The total number of days to complete would be 67 days. There are few activities that can be clubbed with other job work as well. So this has been done to save the time to complete the project. This projection would suit a concrete warehouse with a dimension of (L X B) of 45 X 25 Sq Fts.
The above spread sheet can now be made into a GANTT chart and the responsibility of workers can be assigned. Secondly, the cost of each out sourced material can also be calculated in the chart. Since, this is an on-site project, the basic material that are available at site can be used in this project. Machines as Earth movers, grinders, mixers, cement, grill iron, labor, electrical wiring, appliances, etc could be utilized for the project.
The final control point would be the Project Manager and the first line control point would be the team-supervisor. The role of the supervisor would be to ensure each work under him completed, as per designs and specifications on the same day. There should not be any delays or variations as per the GANTT chart.
