If a population has an interbreeding coefficient (F) of 0.0, then the homozygous allele frequency would be the same as calculated by the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, i.e q2 = 0.0016.
If an interbreeding coefficient is greater than zero, a modified Hardy-Weinberg frequency is needed to calculate the frequency of homozygotes.
