Lewin prolonged the Gestalt values to the conduct of groups. This work is occasionally named the “action research”. According to him, a group can be observed as a bodily system just like the brain. The first group was democratic group in which the leader stimulated the group discussion and contributed with boys in creating decisions. The second group was authoritarian group in which leader prepared all decisions and tell the boys what to do. The third one is laissez-faire group in which no group conclusions were prepared and the boys can do whatsoever they required.
The researchers set up that the democratic group was more fruitful and responsive, the authoritarian group was extremely destructive, and the laissez-faire group was uncreative. Through these trainings Lewin with others decided that group leadership prejudiced the Gestalt symbolizing the group and results in the yield of group members.
