Plato theory modifies as an anticipating modern ideas that combines the concept of cognitive psychology and conceptual thinking. Thus, Plato modified this theory of knowledge by accepting sensory experience from one’s own body thoughts on the contents of the mind that are collectively known as reminiscence theory of knowledge.
According to the reminiscence theory of knowledge, all knowledge is considered to be inborn and can be achieved through introspection that estimates the understanding of the one’s inner thoughts and plans. Infact, sensory experience can only be attained by knowing the thoughts processes and feeling of desires. Hence, all knowledge comes from the power of reminiscence that surpasses the experiences from soul that had entered into the body.
Plato was considered to be more nativist and rationalist in explaining the concept of reminiscence theory of knowledge because he focused on mental operations by explaining the truth (rationalism) and the truth arrived behind the inborn (nativism) that ultimately consisted of major ideas or forms
