Daseinanalysis is a type of psychoanalysis which was first developed by Ludwig Binswanger in the 1920s. He stated it as phenomenological anthropology. The approach was based on principles of Heidegger and Freud. The theory states that the existence of humans is accepted to all kinds of experience. People are taught to conceptualize personhood, mortality and relationships.
According to Binswanger’s approach to Daseinanalysis, the following terms were explained as follows:
Umwelt: Individuals give importance to their existence through consciousness of the surrounding world and the events.
Mitwelt: The existence of humans is based on their relationship with other humans
Eigenwelt: An individual’s private, subjective experience describes his presence in this world.
World design: It is also called Weltanschauung. The concept states how an individual visualize and accept the world.
Ground of Existence: It may be defined as the conditions where one feels and express one’s freedom in life.
Being-beyond-the-world: It can be described as the way one conceptualize and try to change the present circumstances, as per their own will, to their own convenience.
