Answer: Not all the fats are bad for our health, fat produces energy. One should never restrict his fat intake in a minimum quantity. Good fats are very essential for our body such as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids which is essential to maintain body tissues.

  • Fats are responsible for the better body composition such as fats make up the wall of cell.
  • Good fats contribute in the functioning of the brain and make us less prone to the depression.
  • Fat is very crucial part of the reproductive organ, so it benefits the reproduction system, less intake of good fats causes infertility.

The trans fat is very bad for our health, although many companies claim that its good for our health. She can reduce intake of trans and saturated fats by replacing them with more and more green vegetables, consume more fish and chicken, increase the intake of leaner cuts of beef and pork, and trim as much visible fat as possible before cooking and use fat-free or reduced-fat milk instead of whole milk.
