Answer #1

After 1 half life, the concentration of drug will be half of the initial dose.

For example : 100mg of intravenous drug with half life of 15 minutes.

* 15 min after drug administration,50mg of drug remain in the body (50%).

*30 min after drug administration, 25mg of drug remain in the body (25%)

* 45min after drug administration, 12.5mg of drug remain in the body (12.5%).

After 3 half lives,12.5% of drug remain in the body.
