Answer: There is a minor differences between personal and professional ethics. Personal ethics is a consideration and one's own perception of moral beliefs about right and wrong. Personal ethics is a kind of beliefs include thinking and considering the situation through with own moral and distinction whereas professional ethics is a set of moral rules that is applied professionally. The perception includes not only one's individual thought but also they have to follow the guidelines of their profession. For example, Treating patients and providing care is duty of nurse, and providing sympathy to them. But professional ethics includes that the caregivers should not be emotionally attached with the patient.

Ethics can be applied in the field of healthcare as while treating patients it is necessary to be involved ethically as this gives a platform to the medical assistant about how to deal with the situation or continue proper practice. Indulgence of ethics leads to provide better quality of care to the patients. Whenever it is need of ethics, one should be concerned about the proper outcome. While treating a patient, medical assistant can apply ethical behaviour as well as honesty by providing patient a complete teaching of the disease or the treatment and also by performing duties with full zeal so as to aim to provide better services to the patient.

Sometimes it happens that most of the things have impact of personal ethics as while being professional we can not apply personal ethics because the professional ethics includes moral values along with the protocol of the profession where we are bound to it. So, this affects the one's personal ethics.
