Answer #1

Conflict is a serious disagreement or argument. there are four stages involved in conflict process. They are,

  • Latent stage
  • Perceived stage
  • Felt stage
  • Manifest stage

Latent stage: This is the stage when the conflict is not actually started but there is a higher chance that it can happen according to the emotional status of the people involved.

Perceived stage: In this stage both the parties involved are aware that the conflict has actually happened and to understand what went wrong.

Felt stage:During this stage the people involved will experience stress and anxiety regarding what will happen

Manifest stage: this is the stage of open discussion with the opposite party. A clear and open discussion is needed keeping the emotions in check.

It is not necessary that all persons involved in the conflict will go through all the stages of conflict. this will be according to the emotional maturity of the peoples involved. for example some conflicts can be resolved in the latent stage itself. some people involved will be more emotional in the perceived stage. in the felt stage the people who are going to face the consequence will be at high stress and anxiety.

Conflict resolution is a way for two or more parties to find a peaceful solution to a disagreement among them. The disagreement may be personal, financial, political, or emotional. conflict process has a great influence on conflict resolution. if the process of conflict is smooth it can lead to resolution of the disagreement. if the people involved in the conflict is too emotional and there is a lack of proper medium to resolve the issue, it affects adversly.
