1. What are the risks associated with high protein diets?

2. Some of the problems associated with protein intake is the saturated fats often food in animal sources of protein.  What are some things you could do in your diet to reduce this risk?

1. The most prominant risk associated with high protein diets is the kidney disfunctioning as high protein diet make the high load on the kidney for the filtration of the heavy protein metabolites from the body. at the same time it can reduce the calcium level in the bone and may develop osteoporosis in bones.

2. In this case of the saturated fat from the animal there are risks of the cardiovascular disorders as it increases the levels of bad cholesterol like LDL and VLDL. Hence it is recommended to use the unsaturated fats like PUFA & MUFA like omega 3 fatty acids and the other good fats in the diet.
