Two reasons why drinking cola beverages can be harmful to the health of the bones:

First reason:

1. Many colas contain phosphoric acid. As the body tries to neutarlize the acid, it is forced to draw subtantial amount of alkalizing calcium compounds from our bones.

secound reason:

2. colas contain caffeine. Caffeine may increase your body's excretion of calcium, contributing to lower bone density.

Following are the three ways to reduce intake of sodium in the diet with out radically changing the diet:

1.Use fresh, rather then Package, meats.fresh cut of beef, Chicken or pork contain natural sodium, but the content is Still much less than the hidden extra sodium added during processing in products like bacon or ham. If a food item keeps well in the fridge for days or week, that's a tip off that the Sodium contentis too high.

2. Choose fresh fruit d vegetables, as well,since they arr very low in sodium. Canned and frozen fruits are also low in sodium.

3. When buying frozen vegetables choose those that are labelled, " fresh frozen" and do not contain added seasoning or sauces.
