Describe how "empowerment" could be used in working with communicable diseases and risk for infection population. Provide specific examples
Communicable diseases are always infectious which can transfer between individuals.Though effective measures are taken ,there are chances of spreading. This can be minimized when an empowerment is given to a designated staff and control the spreading of the infection.
A community health nurse can empower a group of population by proper health education, periodic screening with preventive techniques can control the infection. This is was what happens in a healthcare sector where the infection control is empowered by a Infection control nurse in whole whereas the other professionals are self responsible to oversee and practice in prevention of infection.
E.g.,A surgeon empowers a surgery. (Though there are various healthcare professional working as a team, it is the surgeon who controls the entire case from taking the patient on the table till the transfer of patient to recovery room and the ward's or intense care respectively )

Describe one example of a poor health outcome that exists in the communicable disease and risk for infection vulnerable population. Explore the contributing factors. Provide epidemiologic data
Identify resource limitations that predispose the communicable disease and risk for infection population to vulnerability and healthcare disparities. Using evidence to defend your position of "worthiness" or "enabling," debate the nature and extent of services that should be provided to this population. Consider the role of resiliency as it relates to vulnerability
Describe how communicable and noncommunicable diseases impact the burden of disease. Include in your description, the effect of migration on the burden of disease as it relates to communicable and noncommunicable diseases.
How communicable diseases are spread and examples of each (3 ways)
There are several different modes of transmission for communicable diseases (e.g. food borne, vector borne, respiratory etc.) discussed in your textbook. Choose ONE disease that falls into one of the categories and discuss the methods used to control this disease. Why might it be difficult to eliminate or eradicate his disease? Be Specific and use supportive examples to support response
Health question 1. Discuss the shift from communicable diseases that once prematurely cut short life to an increased prevalence of noncommunicable chronic diseases that add years of disability. Why have these chronic diseases become more common? How have demographics contributed? (In other words, consider changes in population size and the age of populations.) What risk factors contribute to the top causes of death and disability?
Choose several infectious diseases and analyze how they are spread, using the chain of infection. Examples are AIDS, rabies, cryptosporidiosis, cholera, malaria, smallpox, syphilis. For each disease, how can the chain of infection be interrupted?
