1.Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA): Effect took place with Congressional sanction in 1986. This particular law provides to deliver the medical devices to the patients and their ability to pay is not necessary.

2. The Stark Law: refers a patient to its peer or family member and does provide for specific exceptions. Payments are issued by the medicare and medicaid.

3. The Anti-Kickback Statute: offers, recieves and solicits assets and in return get federally subsidized medical patronage

4. The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act: main purpose is to promote effective technology implementation among the care providers and it is created by Legislators.

Another law is 'The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008'. It was established to enable researchers to make breakthroughs in the medical area.
