As it relates to intrapreneurship, it is good to know about the "work for hire" concept. What can you tell us about that?
Ans
Work for Hire (WFH) concept entails hiring an independent contractor temporarily under a WFH agreement. This protects the interest of both company and the contractor and gets the job done. The agreement has clauses like proprietary right over the developed product, timeline for the project, detailed work schedule, terms of payment etc.
This keeps the culture of intrapreneur ship alive as the contractor has independence in choosing the project and takes up only if he is convinced about the project. He can select his team from the resources of the company and the company gives him autonomy in choosing the resources, flexibility as required.
