The organisms can be easily differentiated in the basis of (+) and (-) notation which suggest the wild type progeny and wild type respectively. There are twenty mutated and thirty-six wildtype gene, Since the symbols of mutation in mutant 2 and mutant 6 is same so there are highly likely to have similar mutation.

In the mutant 2, mutation is occurring mut-2, mut-4, mut-5 and mut-9, wherein mutation in mutant 6 are at mut-2, mut-4, mut-5 and while compare altogether, mut-2 is in all cases of mutant 2 and also in mutant 6.
