Question

How do I find the percent difference between the atomic weight I measured in a lab of Magnesium versus the actual weight of Magnesium.cedures Arrange Options Format View Window Help bomd lab - Atomic weight of Magnesium TO DI | ♡ DALA TA CAL D Di Chemical Pro

The E in the data is the scientific notation. Like the EE button on scientific calculators

I'm not sure what the difference is except that one measurement is in grams and the other is in moles. This is exactly how the model science software showed it. These are the numbers it gave me after I added all chemicals like it asked me to.

How do I go about making a solution for lab that is supposed to be "2 mmol of MgSO4 in 40 mL of DMF." The formula weight of Magnesium Sulfate is 120.366g. Would the stoich be (120.366g/1mol)*(0.002mol/1L)*(1L/1000mL)*(40mL) = 0.009629g which would result in me putting 0.009629g of MgSO4 in the vial and then adding the 40mL of DMF to it? Will like and comment! Thanks
