Being an effective follower can certainly translate into developing us as a future leader. At any point in time, each one of us has been followers to someone in any area of our lives. And if we are effective follower, we learn a lot many things from the leader whom we follow, the good qualities he possesses, important skills such as awareness, courage, diplomacy, courage, critical thinking, collaboration, etc which can help us immensely in becoming an effective leader. Apart from that by being effective followers we also see how the leader leads, the challenges he overcomes, what kind of goals he sets and achieves. It inspires us and guides how to lead, tackle situations, set and achieve goals when we become leaders.
