Some amino acid have more than one codon because of the degeneracy of genetic code. Some amino acid can be specified by more than one codon. Example leucine, arginine have 6 number of synonymous codon. Serine encoded by UCC, UCA, UCU, UCG, AGC, AGU. Met have only one codon. All organism have codon bias but DNA sequence is not same .
