Dilution factor = Volume of stock solution/ Final volume where final volume is the volume of stock+ volume of diluent.

1/20= Volume of stock / 800

Volume of stock to be taken =800*1/20 =40 unit volume

Volume of diluent = Final volume- volume of stock =800-40=760 unit volume
