1)Food plays an important role in everyone 's life.The hectic lifestyle has led to poor nutritional intake So people opt for nutritional supplement Some of the items like protein powder,weight gainer supplement, are misinformed about their effects rather than its side effects.

2)Some of the red flags which can be used to identify the unreliability are

  • Faster result with no side effects
  • Non science based testimonials provided by individuals
  • Cheaper cost availability
  • Advertisement given in media without proper research and healthcare team approval
  • A simple result derived from a complex study
  • Research on the product is still going on

3)Some of the suggestion which can be made to avoid this false nutrition claims are

  • Get it prescribed by the physician or the heakthcare team
  • Get the support from a nutritionist
  • Check for its approval from FDA
  • Avoid cheapest products available in market
  • Never get suggestions from a lay man person who has no knowledge on it
  • Avoid taking it on own for a linger time.
