Dose: 4units/kg/day

Time: 2hrs= 2× 60= 120 mins

Solution: 200 units/84 ml

Drop rate: 15 gtts/ml

Formula: Flow rate = Dose / Time(mins) × drop rate

= (200 units/84 ml) × (4units/kg/day) × (63.05 kg) / (120 mins) × (15 gtts)

= 75.05 approximately 75 gtts/min, the patient should receive.
