Muscle dysmorphia is a obsessive compulsive disorder . It is the opposite of anorexia nervosa and bullimia nervosa. In this disease the individual is concerned about being too small, weak ,lean and underdeveloped .

Individuals do rigorous training and weight lifting ,eat high protein diet ,and compare with others and do mirror checking.

Comparing the behaviours associated with muscle dysmorphia and alcohol abuse

In muscle dysmorphia , individual eats 6 times high protein diet ,do rigorous weight lifting to increase their muscle mass . These people want to look obese ,big and muscular . They just get irritated and violent if they don't look muscular.

In Alcohol abuse ,the individuals drink alcohol above the normal limits and become dependent . Their tolerance is high and get addicted to it . They keep on drinking alcohol full day and lie here and there and get violent if they don't get alcohol . They are not aware of themselves , what they are doing ,where they are etc . If they don't get alcohol ,they have withdrawn symptoms like tremors , flushing , sweating ,seizures etc
