Answer #1

promoter DNA sequences describes a feature found in bacterial expression vectors but not in cloning vectors

cloning vector is uses to increase the copy number of DNA it for that it require ori region, selectable marker and unique restriction site , but expression vector is used for expression of gene and production of proteins for that promoter sequence is most important to start transcription of gene in particular organism , as well as limited copy number should be maintain in organism initiation and termination sequences also needed in expression vector.
