Project Managers use different techniques to schedule their project activities so that the project is finished within the timeline.

The Critical Path Method is one of the technique that was used here.

Critical Path: is defined as longest distance between the initiation of the activity to till the end of the activity. It consists of all the tasks along with their duration, which helps in providing the project definite schedule.

Here first we need to draw the network diagram of the activities along with duration mentioned, and then calculate the critical path of all different paths.

The path with longest distance is CRITICAL PATH

Here the CRITICAL PATH is B - D - H - I

The sum of the duration of the activities in critical path will be your PROJECT DURATION

Here the PROJECT DURATION is B+D+H+I = 28 Weeks
