Project Managers use different techniques to schedule their project activities so that the project is finished within the timeline.
The Critical Path Method is one of the technique that was used here.
Critical Path: is defined as longest distance between the initiation of the activity to till the end of the activity. It consists of all the tasks along with their duration, which helps in providing the project definite schedule.
Here first we need to draw the network diagram of the activities along with duration mentioned, and then calculate the critical path of all different paths.
The path with longest distance is CRITICAL PATH
Here the CRITICAL PATH is B - D - H - I
The sum of the duration of the activities in critical path will be your PROJECT DURATION
Here the PROJECT DURATION is B+D+H+I = 28 Weeks

For the project outlined on the following table, (a) draw a network diagram (arrow or PDM, as you prefer), and (b) identify the critical path and duration. (c) Identify the task(s) you would crash and the incremental cost to reduce project duration by (i) one week; (ii) a second week; (iii) a third week. W4A2: Tasks: See above to view the network diagram. Using the diagram, find: -The critical path. -How long it will take to complete the project? -How does simulation determine the probabilities of various project completion times? -What is "slack" and why is it important? -Why is activity-on-arrow (AOA) or activity-on-node (AON) of significant value to the project manager? -How is the uncertainty in project scheduling dealt with? -Should the critical path activities be managed differently from noncritical path activities? Explain....

The Planning Manager of ABC (Pvt.) Limited wants you to develop a network plan (a precedence diagram) for a development project which is required to begin In June 2019. Your Supervisor has gathered information from previous projects and formed the Table below (Hint: draw the Finish to Start relationships first) d) (1) Draw the PDM network showing lag factors (2) Calculate the earliest and latest event times (3) Calculate the total float times of each activity (4)Define the critical path State the overall project time
1. For the following schedule, Draw the AON network diagram for the project and calculate the schedule. а. Summarize the schedule in a tabular form, showing ES, EF, LS, LF, TF, and FF for each activity b. Denote the critical path on the network. C. d. Perform a cost analysis based on an early start, late start, and target schedule for the project. Plot the cumulative cost distribution for the three S-curves on one graph. e. f. Plot the cumulative...
