Answer #1

20 b- tandem repeat .

In tandem repeats the nucleotide base pairs are arranged in short repeating sequences which are adjacent to each other

Eg from the question ACGG is a short sequwnce of base paors ,its repeated again in the same order and adjacent to it .

In palindromic sequence the the base pairs would resemble the same sequence in the reverse direction on the complementary DNA strand .

So if the base pairs on DNA ( 3' -5' direction) strand is

T T A G C A C G T G C T A A

On complementary strand it would be ( 5'-3' direction)

A A T C G G C A C G A T T ( exact opposite of the coding strand ).

In Mirror repeat the exact same sequences occur within the same strand.

T T A G C A C C A C G A T T

A A T C G T G G T G C T A A

22. Since its a tandem repeat ,the first sequence of nucleotide base pairs will be repeated in the same strand adjacent to each other.

A T C C A T C C
T A G G T A G G

The nucleotide at the end of the arrow is G.

So option c is the correct answer .

If this helps give it a positive rating . Thank you.
