The sickle cell anemia give advantage from malaria disease. But in dry climate, mosquitoes are scarce and so is the malaria. So the sickle cell condition has no advantage there. Even the heterozygote have slightly sickle RBCs and hence they are also not advantageous. Hence answer is option B. Homozygotes for wild type allele.
